Building a Stronger Community Together

The Rotary Club of Grass Valley South — where local leaders, friends, and neighbors create lasting impact in our community and beyond.

Who We Are

For more than 20 years, The Rotary Club of Grass Valley South has been a driving force for positive change in Nevada County. We are committed to service, leadership, and friendship. Our mission is simple: serve others, foster meaningful connections, and make our local community and world stronger.

A Message from Our President

Our club is made up of community members who believe in the power of service and connection.  We come together as neighbors, professionals, and friends to make a difference - both locally and around the world.

From supporting youth and education to organizing community service projects and scholarships, our members are committed to living our Rotary's motto of Service Above Self.  Every project we take on is rooted in a shared desire to strengthen our community and support those who need it most.

But Rotary is more than the projects we complete - it's about the friendships we build and the sense of purpose we share.  The connections formed through Rotary often last a lifetime.

I'm incredibly proud of our club, the impact we continue to make, and the people who make it possible.  If you're interested in service, leadership, and meaningful community involvement, we invite you to learn more about the Rotary Club of Grass Valley South.

Warm Regards,

Lauren Engelking, President 2026-2027
